The Z Beading Machine is a duct beading machine that adds stiffness to the thin sheet used in ventilation ducts. It works at 15 m/min. The cylinders are fully roll-milled and can form aluminum up to 2 mm and stainless steel up to 1 mm, and you set the bead spacing as required. EBR METAL builds it in three working lengths, 1300, 2100 and 2600 mm, so you can match the machine to the widest sheet you bead. Z Beading or W Beading: Which Duct Beading Machine?
Both machines bead duct sheet at 15 m/min. The Z Beading Machine (LPM) comes in three working lengths from 1300 to 2600 mm and lets you set the bead spacing. At 210–410 kg it is the lighter and more compact of the two. The W Beading Machine (WBM) has working widths of 2000 and 2500 mm and forms three bead forms: Z design, trapezoid design or U bead. It weighs 850–1050 kg.
Where It Fits in Your Duct Line
The auto duct lines bead the sheet inline with their own stiffening units, for example the Auto Duct Line Pro. When sheet is cut separately, for example on the Cut-to-Length Line, a standalone sheet metal beading machine adds the stiffening before the edges go to the Pittsburgh Lock Former.
