TDF Corner Machine TCM by EBR METAL

The TDF Corner Machine inserts the corners into rectangular duct made with TDF and TDC self-flanged connections. Without one, every corner goes in by hand with a hammer. This corner inserting machine does the job for you. The operator places the duct corner in the working area and presses the foot pedal. Corners feed from an automatic magazine, and the pneumatic head places and presses each one into the flange. Every corner sits in the same position, so the duct keeps its geometry. It works with 0.5–1.2 mm sheet, runs on a 220 V single-phase supply and needs 6 bar compressed air. L20, L25 and L32 versions are available as options. We build it to follow the TDF Flange Forming Machine in self-flanged duct production.

General Features

  • Automatic corner insertion for TDF and TDC self-flanged duct
  • Automatic corner magazine feeds the corners
  • Pneumatic system places and presses each corner into the flange
  • Precise corner placement keeps the duct geometry consistent
  • Cuts manual corner work at the flange-closing stage
  • For 0.5–1.2 mm sheet
  • Options: L20, L25 and L32. Corner tooling is matched to the flange size, so tell us your flange heights when you order.

Where It Fits in Your Duct Line

Self-flanged duct starts on an auto duct line that notches the sheet, such as the Auto Duct Line with Notching. The TDF Flange Forming Machine then rolls the flange on the duct edges. Once the duct is closed, the TDF Corner Machine inserts the corners, and the duct is ready to be joined on site. See the full sequence on the HVAC Duct Production Line page.

How self-flanged corners, clips and gaskets work together is explained in our guide TDF vs TDC Flange: What Is the Difference?

Frequently Asked Questions

What does a TDF corner machine do?

It inserts the corner pieces into the flanges of TDF or TDC self-flanged duct and presses them in place, a job that is otherwise done by hand.

Does it also work as a TDC corner machine?

Yes. The machine is built for both TDF and TDC self-flanged ductwork.

How are the corners fed?

From an automatic corner magazine. The pneumatic head takes each corner from the magazine and places it in the flange.

What does the machine need on site?

A 220 V / 1 Ph / 50 Hz supply (1.5 A) and compressed air at 6 bar. The machine weighs 300 kg and measures 1050 × 800 × 1250 mm (L × W × H).

Which options are available?

The machine is offered in L20, L25 and L32 versions.

\n
What sheet thickness can it handle?

0.5–1.2 mm, given for ST37 (S235JR) mild steel.
