A plasma sheet feeder feeds sheet metal from the coil to a compatible plasma cutting table, so you are no longer tied to standard plate sizes. It feeds exactly as much sheet as the plasma machine needs and the plasma table cuts the parts, so scrap stays at a minimum and you save material. There are two models. The PFM is the single-coil version. The PFM-S3 adds a 3-coil sheet selector and takes sheet from 0.50 to 1.20 mm (catalogue: Plasma Sheet Feeding Machine, PFM and PFM-S3).
General Features
- Feeds sheet from the coil to a compatible plasma cutting table. Compatibility is checked against the table layout, sheet width and control arrangement.
- No cutting blade of its own: the feeder supplies the sheet and the plasma table cuts the parts
- Feeds exactly the length of sheet the plasma machine needs, independent of standard plate sizes
- Less scrap and less material used than cutting from standard plates
- Designed to increase productivity at the plasma table
- PFM-S3: includes a 3-coil sheet selector
- PFM-S3: feeding speed approx. 4 m/min

Which Plasma Sheet Feeder Fits Your Shop
The PFM is the compact option: 1.1 kW, 220 kg, for sheet up to 1.20 mm. The PFM-S3 is larger (2.2 kW, 800 kg) and carries the 3-coil sheet selector, for shops that cut from more than one coil.
Where It Fits in Your Duct Line
The feeder sits in front of the plasma table and replaces manual loading of cut-to-size plates, turning it into a coil-fed plasma table. It can be paired with the CNC Plasma Cutting Table for HVAC Duct (CPC 1530). For other plasma tables, compatibility is checked against the table layout, sheet width and control arrangement. For flat blanks cut to length from coil without plasma, see the Cut-to-Length Line. The full sequence is on the HVAC Duct Production Line page.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does a plasma sheet feeder do?
It feeds sheet metal from the coil to a compatible plasma cutting table, exactly as much as the plasma machine needs. You are not limited to standard plate sizes, and scrap stays to a minimum.
Does the feeder cut the sheet?
No. The feeder has no cutting blade of its own. It feeds the sheet from the coil, and the plasma table cuts the parts.
Which plasma tables does it work with?
It feeds a compatible plasma cutting table, such as our CPC 1530. Compatibility is checked against the table layout, sheet width and control arrangement.
What is the difference between the PFM and the PFM-S3?
The PFM-S3 includes a 3-coil sheet selector. It also takes 0.50–1.20 mm sheet, has 2.2 kW of power and weighs 800 kg. The PFM handles sheet up to 1.20 mm, has 1.1 kW and weighs 220 kg.
How fast does the PFM-S3 feed?
Approximately 4 m/min.
What power supply do the feeders need?
PFM: 380 V, 3-phase, 50 Hz. PFM-S3: 380 V, 3-phase, 50–60 Hz, with a current of 5.5 A.
